Internet required for setup
Connect this computer and every phone you plan to use to the same local network with internet available. For software-only setup, configure DNS on your router or on each phone using the setup guide. A preconfigured JGIS kit includes the network settings. Complete JGIS setup on every phone before disconnecting the internet or taking the system to an audit.
Your operator supplies an invitation. Jacob reviews and approves each installation before certificate preparation can begin. An invitation alone is not approval.
Test without internet
Keep the local Wi-Fi and JGIS computer running while counting. Complete a disconnected test on every phone. Certificates require periodic online maintenance. Prepared installations with valid certificates work locally during a provisioning outage.
